We all know that Facebook is the biggest social networking today and almost everyone who has a Internet connection do have a Facebook account as well. This post is not about how to become famous on Facebook but I will share some basic and advanced keyboard shortcuts which can save you a lot of time and will help you use Facebook like a pro.
Whenever you log in to your Facebook account the first thing which you see is the news feed and this is where you spend your maximum time. Using following shortcuts you can automate lot of your tasks.
J by pressing J key on your keyboard you can automatically scroll down to the next post on your Facebook feed.
K pressing K on your keyboard takes you back to the previous post.
C pressing C on your keyboard takes your cursor to the comment box below any post.
L by pressing L you can automatically like a particular post and by pressing L again you can unlike it.
P this takes the cursor to your status update so that you can post a new status.
S if you’d like to share a post then you can simply press S on the keyboard.
Esc it helps you to come out from any keyboard shortcut.
These were some basic shortcuts for your day to day tasks but they are some advanced ones as well with can help you do lot of other things too. Using these advanced shortcuts you can migrate from one page to another or even go to your privacy your account settings. These shortcuts are basically dependent on your browser and slightly differ from one browser to another.
For example if you are using chrome and want to go back to your homepage then you need to press alt + 1 whereas in Firefox you will have to press shift + alt + 1 four performing the same tasks. So depending on your browser you can use the below mentioned keys with “alt” or “shift + alt”.

3 – Friends
4 – Inbox
5 – Notification
6 – Account Settings
7 – Privacy
8 – About
9 – Terms
Like explained above if you will need to go to your inbox and you are using chrome then you will press alt + 4 whereas in Firefox it would be shift + alt + 4 .
